…I found myself wandering through a heavily fogged forest, naked and alone. I was searching for something. I was searching for myself; the self that I so longed to be united with. I heard it call to me. I could feel it through the trees, pulling me, howling and screaming for me, but I couldn’t find my way. I blindly meandered through the fog, not noticing the dangers that lurked all around me. Behind me, I felt something following; that old familiar stinging. It was the shadow that haunted me, never leaving my side, yet always isolating me. I could feel it nipping at my heels, so I ran. I ran through the trees, the bramble tearing

Getting back into the groove of my photography! I've been spending a lot of time behind a sewing machine trying to hone my skills at making clothes. Now it's time for me to get back into the practice of photographing!
I'm starting to get motivated again. I'm coming out with new art that I don't think is total shite. We'll see how the rest of this semester goes!

Photo Series - Emulation
I've started a new photo project with the idea to emulate the styles/photos of 10 (or more) photographers that have shaped who -I- am as a photographer today. I feel that in order to really see who I am as a photographer, it's important to look back on the influences I've had.
I'm not going to list the photographers until I've finished and posted their respective emulation, but some of them are already done.
-Emulations-
1. Robert Mapplethorpe - :thumb186365868:
2. Frank Hovat - :thumb188654913:
3. Pascal Renoux - :thumb188666633:
